Offline-First by Design
All BasiraSoft products store data locally on your Windows PC. Your business data never leaves your machine during normal operation — no cloud upload, no SaaS exposure.
Hardware-Fingerprint Licensing
Each software installation is locked to the specific machine's hardware fingerprint. A license cannot be copied, shared, or used on another machine without re-activation.
Local Encrypted Database
Business data is stored in a local SQLite (or PostgreSQL for SmartMart POS) database on your machine. No third party can access your inventory, sales, or financial records.
Automatic Scheduled Backups
All products include an automatic backup system that creates encrypted snapshots of your database on a configurable schedule. Restore in one click from the settings panel.
Role-Based Access Control
Admin, Manager, and Cashier roles with distinct permissions. Control exactly who can view financials, edit prices, delete transactions, or manage staff.
Full Audit Trail
Every transaction, edit, and deletion is logged with timestamp and user identity. Managers can review full activity history to catch errors or misuse.
Secure License Activation
License activation communicates over HTTPS with our activation server. No sensitive business data is transmitted — only the hardware fingerprint hash and license key.
No Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your business data. Usage analytics collected through our website are anonymised and never linked to your business transactions.
